The girls soccer season has reached its zenith, and the coverage on Chicagoland Soccer will match it.
As is its custom, Chicagoland Soccer will present the most and best stories anywhere for the IHSA Class AA and Class 3A state finals this weekend. But that's only the beginning. Keep reading to find out what you'll want to read all about in the next few weeks.
State finals coverage
Chicagoland Soccer's start-to-finish big school state finals coverage begins with a bang each year with Steve Nemeth's top-notch Final Four previews and builds from there.

Reporters Mike Garofola, Matt LeCren, Patrick Z. McGavin and Dave Owen will be on hand to chronicle all eight games and each will be supplemented by photo galleries from Paul Davies and Gary Larsen. That great coverage will be supplemented by live tweeting on both days.

Final 50 poll
Following the state finals, Chicagoland Soccer pollmaker Patrick Z. McGavin will produce the final poll of the season. The Final 50 combines the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25 and Illinois 10 poll into one ranking that encapsulates the season. All schools in the state are eligible for the list.
All-state team
Illinois' best players will be honored on Chicagoland Soccer's annual list compiled by Patrick Z. McGavin. Besides the top team, special mention seniors are recognized as are potential future all-staters on the All-State Watch List for underclassmen. To nominate a player, send the player's name, school, class, and stats and season awards to [email protected] along with the coach's contact information. The final date to submit nominations is June 8.

Illinois prep statistics
For the first time, Chicagoland Soccer statman Steve Nemeth will compile state-wide stats for the girls side. To submit stats for this feature, send scoring information for girls who have scored 10 or more goals, recorded 10 or more assists, or 25 or more points for field players, and shutouts, goals against, and goals against average for keepers to [email protected]. The final date to submit statistics is June 8.

IHSSCA Honors Banquet
Chicagoland Soccer will again provide exclusive coverage of the coaches honors banquet which recognizes players with all-state, all-sectional and honorable mention all-sectional recognition. Additionally, reporter Ken Keenan will be on hand to interview award winners for Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, this season's Hall of Fame inductee coach Ed Watson of Naperville Central and more.

Next school year marks the 10th anniversary of Chicagoland Soccer!
Registration for the boys season is now underway. Coaches, athletic directors, booster clubs or parents can sign teams up for coverage. After a record fall in 2017, spots for new teams may be limited.
