Little All-State Team

We introduce a new component to our all-state package with a team to represent top players from the state's smaller and niche schools who would previously have made the Special Mention or Watch List groups. These programs are typically co-op squads or boundary schools with fewer than 300 students who can be underrepresented. Higher academic schools like the Illinois Math and Science Academy and smaller Class AA schools that are sometimes overlooked are also represented. All players are on Class A teams unless noted.
Carter Andrews, Somonauk/Leland (co-op), midfielder, senior
24 goals, 10 assists for sectional qualifier.
Jude Barton, Wheaton Academy, defender, senior
Top defender on Class A state champions. Contributed to nine shutouts. Two goals, three assists.
Griffin Cook, Earlville, midfielder, sophomore
25 goals, 19 assists for regional finalist.
Ayden Delaney, Grant Park, midfielder/forward, senior
35 goals, nine assists for sectional finalist.
Coleton Eade, Somonauk/Leland (co-op), keeper, junior
Nine shutouts, permitted just five goals (22 games, 1,650 minutes) and posted a .242 goals-against average.
Scott Eldridge, Manteno, defender/midfielder, senior
Two-way standout scored 16 goals and distributed two assists.
Cameron Frye, Williamsville, forward, junior
Broke 100-point barrier with 45 goals and 16 assists for regional finalist.
Lance Grandgeorge, Somonauk/Leland (co-op), midfielder/forward, sophomore
36 goals, 21 assists for sectional qualifier.
Vincent Herbig, Plano, forward, senior
24 goals, 10 assists for Class AA team.
Joe Lashuay, Oakwood/Salt Fork (co-op), defender/midfielder, sr.
Stopper on defense that posted 10 shutouts for team that upset top-seed St. Thomas More in regional semis. Scored 13 goals with seven assists.
Landon Lawson, Argenta-Oreana (co-op), midfielder, senior
29 goals, 37 assists.
Ethan Lemkuil, Timothy, defender/midfielder, senior
Led a defense that registered nine shutouts for fourth place finisher. Scored 12 goals with two assists. Metro Suburban Conference Blue Division Player of the Year.
Liam Oxendine, Bismarck-Henning-Rossville-Alvin, forward, junior
28 goals, seven assists.
Nick Potter, North Shore Country Day, keeper, senior
11 shutouts, conceded just 10 goals for 0.52 goals-against average for sectional finalist. Member of fourth place team in 2019.
Grant Powell, Oakwood/Salt Fork (co-op),
midfielder/forward, junior
29 goals, 20 assists. Upset top-seeded St. Thomas More in regional semis.
Bryce Ramler, Marquette Manor, forward, senior
55 goals, eight assists for IHSA-approved school.

Led state with 57 goals scored. Also had eight assists for regional finalist.
