Seeds announced for state tournament
2 Chicagoland Soccer teams hold
No. 1 sectional seeds, 4 top regionals

The postseason came into clearer view when the IHSA released its tournament seeds via the internet Thursday.
In the Bartlett Sectional of Barrington Supersectional #1, Chicagoland Soccer teams resided as the top four seeds. Former state No. 1 St. Charles East holds the top spot followed in order by Lake Park, Wheaton North and St. Charles North. West Chicago (No. 8), Wheaton Warrenville South (11), Willowbrook (14), Elk Grove (15) and Bartlett (18) will also compete in the 19-team sectional. St. Charles East, Wheaton North and Elk Grove will host regionals.
In the corresponding DeKalb Sectional, Huntley and Streamwood are No. 1 seeds in their own regionals. No. 4 seed Jacobs will host No. 1 Crystal Lake South in its regional. State-ranked Boylan heads its five-team regional.
Lewis University hosts the supersectional of death.
The Lyons Sectional is topped by state No. 1 Morton followed by Chicagoland Soccer powers Hinsdale Central, Lyons and Downers Grove South, who have all lost to the Mustangs this season. Oak Park and River Forest is ranked fifth; No. 7 St. Ignatius and No. 16 Hinsdale South round out Chicagoland Soccer's representation. Hinsdale Central and Downers Grove South are regional hosts.
In the 19-team Bolingbrook Sectional Chicagoland Soccer teams hold the first 10 spots. Naperville Central tops the group followed in order by Batavia, Benet Academy, Naperville North, Plainfield South, Plainfield North, Neuqua Valley, Waubonsie Valley, Metea Valley and West Aurora. Marmion Academy (No. 13), Oswego East (14) and Plainfield Central (18) round out the CS teams. Naperville Central, Naperville North and Metea Valley host regionals.
The Barrington #2 SuperSectional is divided into the Palatine and Niles North sectionals.
Palatine is topped by Warren and Libertyville, but features Fremd, Barrington and Hersey at Nos. 3, 4 and 5 respectively. Buffalo Grove is ranked 14 in the 19-team group. Barrington and Buffalo Grove host regionals.
At Niles North, Leyden is set in the fifth spot behind Evanston, New Trier, Lane Tech and Glenbrook South. Prospect ranks 16th as Chicagoland Soccer's lone additional representative.
In Class 2A, Wheaton Academy tops the St. Francis Regional in the Hampshire Sectional. The hosts are the No. 4 seed in their five-team regional. Saint Viator is seeded fifth in the Grayslake Central Sectional.
