Everything old is new again. Following another wild and topsy-turvy week of upset-laden soccer, Hinsdale Central is again the top-rated program after its impressive 2-0 victory over new no. 3 Lyons on Friday.
The Lions vaulted four spots based on their PepsiCo Showdown tournament victory over previous no. 4 Libertyville 2-1 in double overtime on Sunday at DePaul. Another team to look out for is Waukegan. The Bulldogs enter the top 10 for the first time this season after they ended previously third-ranked Evanston’s streak of nine-consecutive games without surrendering a goal in their 1-0 victory.
