The Warriors scored four times in the first seven minutes to cement the semifinal win. Ben Vishanoff, Luke Poland (assist) and Alex Moncau (brace) scored their first varsity goals. Josiah Pitts tallied twice, and Caleb Mariotti (goal, two assists), Josh Mariotti (goal, assist), Jakob Karlson (goal, assist) and Sam Brown rounded out the scoring. Ethan Head, Lucas Landstrom, Gabe Rodriguez and Cuyler Finnegan chipped in with helpers. Keeper Declan Finnegan made one save for the clean-sheet. The Warrior backline provided great protection to earn the team's 11th shutout of the season. Wheaton Academy (11-4-3, 5-1-x Metro Suburban Blue co-champs), which is ranked 23rd in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25, advances to the final against St.Edward at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

The league champions (16-3-3, 6-0-1) received a first half brace from Mason Brockmeyer on two Marc Walker assists. In the second half, Max Dodrill added a goal and assist. Jack Harrington scored on a PK, and Omar Ontiveros tallied the final goal. Brandon Garland provided a helper. Jordan Rolon made four saves for the shutout for the 13th-ranked Fighting Saints.

Crystal Lake South 8, Hampshire 2
The Gators took the conference title with a six-goal outburst to open the scoring. Ali Ahmed had a goal and two assists in the opening stanza. Nolan Getzinger finished with a hat-trick. Nick Prus added a brace, and Nico Velasco and Kevin Cardoso produced solo tallies. Brendan Ross and Mason Ross contributed helpers. Crystal Lake South improved to 12-4-3 overall and finished with an 8-1-0 league record. The conference crown was the team's first since 2018.

Naperville Central 4, Romeoville 0
The third-ranked Redhawks turned away no. 5 Romeoville in a big way. Michael Cavalleri, Joseph LoDuca, Nathan Kwon and Sean O'Reilly provided the offense. Chase Adams had a pair of assists, the only ones of the match. The DuPage Valley Conference champion received a split clean-sheet from Dylan Scott and Austin Waite.
Naperville North 3, Downers Grove South 1
The no. 8 Huskies (13-3-4, 3-1-0 in the DuPage Valley Conference) prevailed on Senior Night. Caden Hill (Ryan Konrad assist), Adam Zielke (Aidan McMahon) and keeper Reed Goss (Alex Barger) provided the offense.

Leo Arizmendi's 49th-minute goal off an Adam Fournier assist was the difference. Ethan Cole made six saves for the shutout for the no. 25 Blue Devils (14-4-2). "What a cold dark night it was," said coach Jason Ahonen. "Really proud of the way the boys came out in the second half. Lake Forest Academy was all over us in the first half, and we were able to keep it 0-0 to the first half. We were able to create a number of dangerous chances in the second half but only scored once. We are a little banged up right now, so we had some players really step up and play a much larger role than normal. Very happy to see those guys succeed today."

Lucas McMillan (Ryan Bondi) scored for the Storm, who could not find the equalizer. The team will host a regional and welcome Huntley for a semifinal match at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 18.
