The defending Class A champions took their second-consecutive regional. Cuyler Finnegan collected his first two scores of the season. Joshua Mariotti (brace) and brother Caleb Mariotti (goal, three assists) keyed the offense. Lucas Landstrom and Scotty Murray each tallied a goal and assist. Troy Erickson and Josiah Pitts each notched a goal. Alex Moncau, Jakob Karlson, Ethan Head and Finn Ruch added to their assist totals. The Warriors backline held strong and finished with its 12th shutout of the year. The Warriors (12-4-3, 5-1-x and Metro-Suburban Conference Blue Division co-champions) await the winner of the Marian Central and Johnsburg match. The Warriors play next Tuesday in a sectional semifinal at Performance Trust Field.

Aidan McMahon (Owen Gaccione assist) and Sam Hess (Alex Barger) led the offense in the win for the eighth-ranked Huskies (14-3-4, 4-1-0). Reed Goss earned the clean-sheet.
East Suburban Catholic Conference
Benet 3, Saint Viator 2
A 72nd-minute goal from Nico Picha gave the 18th-ranked Redwings (12-4-1, 7-1-0) a share of the league title with St. Patrick and Notre Dame. Rich Augustyn assisted the second and third goals. Brayden Fagbemi scored the opener unassisted in the 39th minute. Nick Roe scored in the 51st minute. Next up for Benet is a regional matchup against Proviso West at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Downers Grove South.
