Sebastian Carranza led the second half scoring with a goal and an assist. Luke Schnitker scored unassisted in the first half, and Truitt Battin added an insurance goal. Goalkeeper Jack Settle made six saves for St. Charles East (10-5-0, 4-1-0), which is now tied for the league lead with Wheaton North

Grayslake Central 3, Grant 1
Dani Orozco's hat-trick propelled the Rams to the road win. The senior has eight goals this season. Henry Morrison, Tyler Kalata and Tyler Armstrong provided the assists. Keeper Alexis Garcia Perez contributed two saves for Grayslake Central (4-12-2, 3-3-1). After a 1-9-0 start to the season, the Rams have gone 3-3-2 in their last eight games. "We're picking up steam lately," said coach Thomas Hamiltn. "Every player is starting to believe in himself and each other, and we've been creating more chances these last few games. We're proud of the progress so far but hungry for more, so we'll look to build on this as we prepare for playoffs."

Sam Sandoval recorded his 10th shutout as the no. 18 Blazers rolled to their 10th-straight win. The offense was provided by Jose Galindo, Melvin Mora, Anthony Hernandez and Leo Acosta. Mora added an assist, and Julio Acosta (2) and Eduardo Huerta also provided helpers. Addison Trail is 13-4-0, 4-0-0.

The Mustangs roared back for the win after an early deficit. Cristian Perez scored a brace for third-ranked Morton (14-2-1, 5-0-0).
