The third-seeded Sabres, who have lost only once in their last nine games (6-1-2), prevailed on a second half goal from Aldo Lazaro off an Oscar Chavez assist. Goalkeeper Daniel Dominguez made two saves in produce his eighth shutout of season for Streamwood, ranked 24th in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25. The Sabres (14-5-2) advance to their sectional final against fourth-seeded Jacobs (15-6-2) at 5 p.m. Friday. Eleventh-seeded Hampshire, which knocked off no. 2-seed Elgin in PKs to win its regional, finished the season at 12-9-3.

Luke Holwerda broke the ice in the 47th minute, and Grayson Harris added two more goals for the Warriors 14th-straight win. Wheaton Academy has yet to lose a game to an Illinois Class AA team this season and beat the Raiders 5-0 in Metro Suburban Conference Blue Division play Sept. 26. J.D. Gunn posted the 12th shutout of the season for the 18th-ranked Warriors, who have not allowed a goal in three playoff games. Wheaton Academy (21-4-0) will host fellow sub-sectional no. 1-seed Timothy (17-6-0) at 7 p.m. Friday. The Warriors topped the Trojans 9-1 in their season opener Aug. 24.
Second-seeded Glenbard South finished its season at 12-8-1.
