Zach Smith's first half brace powered the three-time defending Class 3A champions. After the break, Ty Konrad, who provided the helper on the opener, scored unassisted and had a corner kick lead to an own-goal for a 4-0 lead. Goalkeeper Jason Barba got the win for Naperville North, which is ranked second in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25, and holds a top seed. Next up for the Huskies is the Oswego Regional champion. The game between fifth-seeded Waubonsie Valley and no. 4-seed Oswego was postponed Saturday due to field conditions. That match will be played at 3:45 p.m. Monday.

York 1, St. Charles East 1 (York wins PKs 4-3)
St. Charles East held a 1-0 advantage after Sam Wade's first overtime goal (Sebastian Carranza assist), but York evened the game in the second OT before winning on penalty kicks. Goalkeeper Jack Settle made seven saves in the run of play for the no. 12 Saints, who ended their season with a stellar 18-2-3 record and DuKane Conference title. The loss ended an 18-game unbeaten streak (15-0-3).

T.J. McVey led the way with a hat-trick to pace the top-seeded and third-ranked Redwings (16-1-2) to the win. Sam Hepburn posted the opening goal. Tom Miskin contributed two assists, and Preston Wray had one. Keeper Vyto Staniskis stopped six shots for the shutout. The Benet defense continued its stellar season with its 16th shutout and sixth in its last seven matches. The Redwings enter sectional play on a 14-game unbeaten streak. They will meet the Hampshire Regional champion Sycamore at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Burlington Central. The second-seeded Spartans advanced with a weather-shortened win. Sycamore led Hampshire 1-0 with 27 minutes left in regulation when the game was called due to field conditions Saturday.
