Billy Heniades got the game-winner in the 18th minute, 21 seconds after Wheaton North had tied the score, and the Wildcats held the host Falcons scoreless the rest of the way for the win. Jose Navarro opened the scoring in the 7th minute; Amish Gupta and Jason Benjamin contributed assists for Neuqua Valley (12-4-1, 3-2-0). Keeper Dylan Soto made three saves to earn the victory. The Wildcats host conference foe Lake Park in their next game action at 4:30 Thursday.

The Warriors punctuated their league championship with an unblemished 5-0-0 record after the big win in Lansing. Wheaton Academy improved 16-4-0 overall with the victory.

St Charles East 1, Streamwood 0
The resurgent Fighting Saints can't claim the conference title, but they influenced what Streamwood must do to win it with the upset victory over the 16th-ranked Sabres. Streamwood now needs a win over Elgin in the teams conference finale to capture the River Division crown. The Sabres host Elgin at 4:30 Oct. 10. Truitt Battin's second half goal was the offense St. Charles East (5-9-4, 2-2-) needed. Keeper Zach Kennedy made seven saves for the clean-sheet. Daniel Dominguez made four saves for Streamwood (10-5-1, 3-1-1).
