Daniel Pepping and Nico Picha had a goal and an assist apiece to lead the host Redwings to their fourth win in a row. The no. 11 team in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25 held a 1-0 lead at the break on a Collin McGuinn goal (Pepping assist). Benet put the game out of reach with a pair of goals scored three minutes apart at the start of the second half. John Kolb scored the first insurance goal in the 42nd minute off an Andy Nash assist. Keepers Evan Lucas (one save, 62 minutes) and Drew Knapp (one save) shared the shutout for Benet (11-4-0, 7-0-0), which is know tied for the conference lead with Notre Dame with two games left. The Redwings travel to meet no. 25 Naperville Central at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Oak Forest 2, Bremen 1
After Bremen took the lead on a PK in the 71st minute. Oak Forest drew even on a Ian Plancarte PK with 3:10 left in the game. Senior captain Luis Rosales scored the game-winner 40 seconds later. The win was the third in a row for the Bengals (10-4-3, 5-2-2), who are 5-1-1 in their last seven games. Oak Forest now leads Lemont by a point in the conference race with two games to play.
