Cesar Recendez and Ty Konrad scored, but it was not enough against no. 15 Gateway Legacy in the battle of nationally ranked top 24 teams. Alex Barger and Patrick Koenig registered assists. Naperville North led 1-0 at the half; goalkeeper Jason Barba kept Gateway Legacy scoreless in 40 minutes of work. Pablo Jara worked the net in the second half for Naperville North (11-4-2), which is ranked second in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25.

After a scoreless first half, assists from Alex Mancera on Zach Gamster and Connor King goals extended the no. 17 Fighting Saints unbeaten streak to 12 games. Goalkeeper Zach Doerr made five saves in the win for St. Charles East (13-1-2).

The host Gators held two second half leads but couldn't hold on for the result. Tyler Getzinger led the way with a goal and an assist. Alex Canfield contributed the opening goal. Keeper Carson Hill made five saves for no. 12 Crystal Lake South (10-3-4). Buffalo Grove's record now stands at 9-5-2.
Glenbard North 2, Glenbard South 2
With :50 left, Glenbard North's Jessie Aragon flicked in a header off a cross from Emmanuel Castanon to earn the the tie. Nathaniel Enriquez scored in the first half to even the game 1-1. Glenbard South was awarded a penalty kick with 15 minutes left which they converted for a 2-1 lead. The Panthers (8-8-2) travel to Wheaton Warrenville South in DuKane Conference action Tuesday.
Lyons 4, Riverside-Brookfield 0
Julio Torres and Jack Luttrell recorded braces for the no. 14 Lions (9-3-2), who won their fourth game in a row.
Mundelein 3, Grayslake Central 1
The host Rams fell to 6-10-0. Freshman Daniel Marynevych scored off a James Rohlfing assist. "We came out a bit flat in the first half and struggled with our awareness because of a lack of communication, but we made the necessary adjustments for the second half and played some great soccer over the last 40 minutes," said coach Tom Hamilton. "Mundelein made us pay for our lapses, as good teams do. We've seen what we can do in spurts, and now we'll work on putting it together for a full 80 minutes."
