Renato Avendano's second goal broke a 2-2 halftime tie as the Fighting Saints took the important contest to remain undefeated in the league at 4-0-0. Zach Gamster added a goal for St. Charles East (14-1-2), and Sebastian Carranza and Alex Mancera provided assists. Goalkeeper Jack Settle made seven saves for the winners, who are ranked 15th in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25. Wheaton North fell to 11-5-1, 3-2-1.

The homestanding Titans took a 3-1 halftime lead en route to the win. Zach Ochab needed only 41 minutes to register a hat-trick, and Jhovany Guadarrama record a trio of assists in the same span. Danny Sergiev and Jose Santos-DeSoto added goals, and Drew Maytum and Julian Issar contributed assists for Glenbrook South (10-5-3), which plays Vernon Hills (6-8-2) in its CSL cross-over match at 7 p.m. Thursday. Sam Inmon (PK) and Carlos Alfaro scored for Grayslake North.

The visiting Rams fell to the no. 17 Zee-Bees. Christian Hinestrosa (James Rohlfing assist) and Ben Berry (free kick) accounted for the goals for Grayslake Central (6-11-0).
