Crystal Lake South 3, Jacobs 2
The Gators moved into the final with a 3-2 win over their hosts. Orlando Tapia (Ryan Russmann), Andrew Grabowski (unassisted) and Charlie Ruff (Russman) scored for the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division champions (16-5-1). Dalton Kause made 2 saves in the win. Crystal Lake South faces Cary-Grove for the title at 5 p.m. Friday.
Noah Melick's unassisted goal brought Jacobs within 2-1, and Nick Floss' tally from a Chris Rigby helper made it 3-2, but the Golden Eagles couldn't force overtime. Eduardo Guimaray made 6 saves for Jacobs (5-15-1).
Reavis Regional
Lyons 6. Proviso East 0
The Lions recorded their 20th victory of the year in the romp. Patrick Duncan led the way with 2 goals. Lyons meets Kelly at 4:30 p.m. Friday for the regional title.

St. Francis Regional
Wheaton Academy 3, St. Francis 0
The top-ranked team in 2A received goals from Ty Seager (Reid Culberson), Lucas Hoepner (Grant Rougas) and Elias McCloud (Rougas). Drew Sezonov posted the shutout with 2 saves for the Warriors (18-1-1). Wheaton Academy will play the Fenton/Glenbard South winner at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
St. Francis goalkeeper Jonathan Burke had 9 saves for the Spartans (9-9-4).
