The Warriors came out flying at Adams Field, outshooting the Panthers 21-2 in the first half but only had a 1-0 margin at the half thanks to an impressive display by the Panthers goalkeeper. Riley Schimanski broke the ice in the 33rd minute when she drilled a pass from Malori Killoren inside the near post. In the second half, the Warriors scored three times in a four-minute span to put the game away. Holly Deutsch scored her first varsity goal on a curling left-footed shot after a pass from Julia Neal in the 47th minute. Three minutes later, Shayna Wood fed Malori Killoren, who beat several defenders, cut back, and ripped a shot into the far corner. Less than a minute elapsed when Killoren sprang Neal on a breakaway for a 4-0 lead. Naomi Fischoff closed out the scoring by taking a pass from Emma Gassman and squeezing one underneath the keeper. Isa Davila and Carolyn Curley shared the shutout.
St. Charles East 2, Naperville North 0
The Fighting Saints (2-1-0) stunned the no. 5 Huskies (0-2-1) on an Elle McCaslin brace. Hannah Miller and Kayla Villa each contributed an assist. Goalkeeper Megan Galante made two saves to record the shutout.
