Warriors' keeper Isa Davila set the tone when she punched a Hilltopper shot from close range over the bar in the 7th minute. Deerfield took control after that. Malori Killoren broke the scoreess tie in the 27th minute when she took a pass from Riley Schimanski and beat her defender to bury one in the corner. Killoren made it 2-0 in the 47th minute off a corner kick from Shayna Wood. Marissa Hyland just missed connecting on a breakaway in the 58th minute, sliding her shot just wide. The Hilltoppers rattled a shot off the crossbar in the 64th minute, but the Warriors defense held firm. Later, Hyland picked up a loose ball in the midfield and fed Schimanski, who beat her defender to the endline and crossed for Julia Neal to finish at the near post. Davila and Gabi Sipe split the shutout.

Piper Biziorek had a goal and two assists in the first half to lead the no. 4 Wildcats (1-1-1) to a 3-0 halftime lead. Shannon Tagler finished with a brace and an assist. Katelynn Nardulli added a goal and an assist, and Alison Dovalovsky capped the scoring. Danielle Hopkins assisted the opening goal in the road win.
