The Panthers got on board with 1:30 remaining in the first half on freshman Christian Escobedo’s first varsity goal, assisted by Nathaniel Enriquez. Host Wheaton Warrenville South tied the game on a PK in the 60th minute. With eight minutes to play Gabe Jurado played a great ball over the backline for the Chris Areoyo game-winner. Jorge Roman finished off the scoring with :14 remaining on a PK after being pulled down in the box.
St. Charles East 1, Wheaton North 1
The sixth-ranked Fighting Saints held the halftime lead courtesy of Mason Blenner (Ryan Vandeveer assist), but they could not hold Wheaton North at bay. Jake Boecher (40 minutes, two saves, zero goals) and Tyler Benhart (40, two, one) split the time in net for St. Charles East (12-3-3, 9-2-3) which took second in the league.
Fox Valley Conference Tournament
Crystal Lake South 2, Burlington Central 2
The Gators build a two-goal halftime lead but couldn't hang on for the consolation pool win. Sam Bahnfleth (Nolan Getzinger) and Deven Tinajero (Michal Dejworek) shared the scoring spotlight. Crystal Lake South finished the season 6-4-2.

Blue Division
Wheaton Academy 7, IC Catholic Prep 0
The Warriors improved to 11-3-1, 9-1-0. The game was scoreless until a fantastic strike from Lucas Landstrom in the 36th minute. Josh Mariotti doubled the lead just before halftime from the penalty spot. Mariotti connected again in the second half, as did Rian Bautista, Haetham Nasr and Scotty Murray (twice). Jude Barton, Josiah Pitts and Brayden Vandervelde (2) assisted their teammates. Declan Finnegan recorded two saves on the evening, and Brandon Hoekstra picked up one to share the shutout. The 25th-ranked Warriors conclude their spring season with a 4 p.m. kickoff at no. 23 St. Francis on Saturday in a game that will decide the league championship.

Carl Harris scored in the sixth minute off a Sebastian Rodriguez assist and the top-ranked Blue Devils (13-0-0) never looked back. Alex Senko, Max Floriani, Edward Luna and Noe Martinez delivered goals, and Miguel Garcia (two) and Miguel Rodriguez
contributed helpers. Nic Diana made two saves tor the clean-sheet. "Thought the boys played very well tonight," said coach Jason Ahonen. "Once again we were able to get on the scoreboard early and separate ourselves from Waukegan. Looking forward to concluding our season on Saturday as we play in the semifinals."
Upstate Eight Conference
South Elgin 1, Glenbard South 1
Edwin Ayala provided a second half score off a Bryce Jungers assist for the Storm (4-5-2, 3-4-1). Zack Juszko made three saves and allowed only a PK in 80 minutes of work.
South Elgin's season finale features its Senior Day celebration and game against Streamwood at 10 a.m.

Benet 2, West Chicago 1
No. 4 Benet (13-1-0, 9-0-0), the defending Class AA champion, beat the defending Class 3A champion after clinching the East Suburban Catholic Conference title Monday night. The decisive goal came with a minute left to play off the foot of Andy Nash. Anthony Klos also notched a goal in the 19th minute and help on both scores came from Macalester College commit Hans Haenicke. Keeper Nolan Hart made four saves in the match. Benet has its final action of the season and Senior Day at 1 p.m. Saturday at home against sixth-ranked St. Charles East. -- Aidan Foertsch, Benet student journalist

Katherine Lemke had a goal and two assists, and Paige Crustowski had a goal and assist to lead the Spartans. Claire Reinke, Tristan Grosam and Lauren Bruce finished the scoring. Sophia Roszowski offered an assist. Keepers Hannah Blaha and Hannah Davis shared the clean-sheet.

Oswego East 7, Joliet West 0
Alex McPhee tallied two goals and an assist, and Anya Gulbrandsen and Mikayla Lambert recorded braces for the Wolves. Emma Rosenthal added a goal. Erika Smiley guided two assists, and Riley Gumm, Veronica Hamilton and Loryn Paribello had one apiece.

The Warriors struck three times in the first half and cruised to the home win. Holly Deutsch got things rolling when she took a pass from Ally Linn and finished off a breakaway in the 12th minute. Linn provided again in the 21st when she assisted on Emily Fox's first varsity goal. Deutsch scored again in the 37th, with Linn again providing the assist. Fox got her second of the night after a give-and-go with Simone Criz three minutes into the second half. Emma Gassman closed out the scoring three minutes later. Gabi Sipe and Isa Davila shared the shutout with a combined four saves.
