The Sabres gave coach Matt Polovin his 300th-career win in the boys program at the school. Jose Banuelos led the Sabres with bookend goals and an assist in the win. Hugo Marquez delivered a goal and assist, and Christian Sandoval tallied the second goal of the game. Joel Sandoval chipped in with an assist. Harvey Partida made one save for his sixth shutout of the season for Streamwood (8-3-3, 4-2-3).
West Chicago 8, South Elgin 2
The Storm (4-6-2, 3-5-1) fell to the defending Class 3A state champion and the repeat league titleist. Ryan Doherty (Christian Andrew) and Bryce Jungers (PK) scored for South Elgin.

Benet 4, St. Charles East 1
The fourth-ranked Redwings (14-1-0, 9-0-0) had a sparkling finish to the season with the Senior Day win over no. 6 St. Charles East. Preston Wray opened the scoring for Benet, with help from Haenicke, who later knocked in another score for the Redwings. Sam Hepburn finished up the first half scoring with help from Nico Picha and Wray. After the break, Jack Gleason set up Caden Schulz. Senior keeper Nolan Hart made five saves in 80 minutes of play. Benet ended the spring season as conference champions and looks forward to the fall. Sebastian Carranza, assisted by Alex Mancera, scored for St. Charles East (12-4-3, 9-2-3).

The third-ranked DuPage Valley Conference champion Huskies (10-2-1, 5-0-00 took a 1-0 halftime lead on an unassisted Cam Redeke goal. Eleventh-ranked St. Charles North fought back for the draw.

The Redhawks moved to 2-0-0 on the season behind a brace from Molly O'Rear and two assists from Megan Norkett. Ella Burke scored the final goal, and Sam Sharp chipped in with a helper. Keepers Trinity Strang and Abbey O’Connor split the shutout for 12th-ranked Naperville Central, which travels to no. 8 Benet for a 4:30 p.m. game Monday.
