Emily Fox got things started for the 16th-ranked Warriors when her left-footed free kick found the back of the net at 8:07. Ryane Emory made it 2-0 when she put home the rebound of a Holly Deutsch shot at 13:22. Deutsch, assisted by Ally Linn and Riley Schimanski, chipped one over the keeper at 34:46. Deutsch took a pass from Jessie Fisher and buried one from 30 yards at 39:49. Aubrey Galvan finished off a nice passing sequence from Ruby Levy and Simone Criz at 51:43. Maggie Culver took an Avery Kingsepp pass and blasted one in the far corner at 65:22. Kingsepp got her first varsity goal at 77:54 when she put away the rebound of a Caroline McAnally free kick.

The 10th-ranked Fighting Saints held the halftime lead on the first of two Ella Stellman goals assisted by Libby Thomas. Mia Raschke made it 2-0 (McKenzie Loomis) en route to a 3-0 lead. Neuqua Valley scored late on a penalty kick. Sidney Lazenby made five saves for St. Charles East (12-2-0), which concludes pool play against Hinsdale Central at 7 p.m. Friday at Barrington.

The Spartans ended their four-game losing streak, which came against much bigger schools at the Malnati's Classic, with a resounding win. Ellie Bielenda (hat-trick, two assists) and Lauren Bruce (hat-trick, assist) led the way. Claire Reinke, Claire Andrzejewski, Sophia Roszkowski and Liv Basel each scored once. Ada Suriano added an assist.
Wheaton Academy 4, Aurora Central 0
After a scoreless first half, the Warriors got their scoring start with an own-goal. Sophomore Anna Africa followed with a brace, and Sydney Abbott concluded the scoring. Mila Ereneta and Emily Setran recorded assists. Keeper Sara Swoboda made five saves for the clean-sheet. Wheaton Academy (7-4-1) is off until April 24 when they travel to Westmont for a 4:30 p.m. game.
