The no. 23 Warriors finished a perfect conference title run with the road win. Erin Teevans scored off a slotted ball by Sophie Lindquist to help Wheaton Academy move to 8-3-1 on the year and 6-0-0 in the league. Marta Oster made three saves in the match to earn the shutout. The Warriors host Wheaton North in their final game of their tournament at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Missing three key starters due to injuries, Payton coach Paul Escobar turned to his reserves and was rewarded with a gutty effort that snapped Latin’s 13-game unbeaten streak. Grizzlies junior Yuriko Himeno's first two goals of the season paced the victory. The game-winner came on a beautiful cross by freshman Olivia Moore which Himeno finished with a leaping header from 12 yards. Latin senior Jade Edwards opened the scoring with a 15-yard strike just under the crossbar early in the first half. Payton keeper Hannah Lynn made 11 saves behind a scrambling defense that held off the Latin attack.

Naperville North 2, St. Charles East 1
Sydney Daeschler's PK gave the 13th-ranked Fighting Saints a first half lead, but no. 5 Naperville North tied the game in the 33rd minute and scored the game-winner in the second half. St. Charles East keeper Grace Griffin made seven saves for the Saints (9-4-3).
New Trier 4, Naperville Central 1
The Redhawks took a 1-0 lead on Maddie Redecker's PK in the 16th minute, but the hosts couldn't hold off no. 2 New Trier, which pulled even 10 minutes later and led 2-1 at half. Keepers Erin McHugh and Sophie Epelbaum made five saves each for Naperville Central (7-9-0).

Abby Casmere's goal gave the Redwings (11-2-1) the quality win. Eva Frantzen earned the shutout in goal.
