The Fighting Saints, ranked 13th in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25, put the game away with four unanswered goals in the second half. Sebastian Carranza led the scoring with a brace and two assists, and Sam Wade contributed a goal and assist. Jake Maslowski, Alex Mancera and Mike Carbonara made contributions to the goal column. Josh Ruiz, Connor King and Mason Brockmeyer chipped in with assists. Keepers Jake Boecher (four saves, one goal allowed) and Tyler Benhart (two, one) split the win for St. Charles East (10-2-1, 7-2-1), which has won five in a row and outscored its opponenets 24-5 in that span. The victory avenged a 2-0 loss to the Tigers on March 16.
