After a scoreless first half, the hosts took the lead on Sarah Andrey (assist Sydney Stitz, 54th minute) and Sami Rydberg (Cece Wahlberg, 63rd) goals and held on after a Schaumburg tally halved their lead in the 71st minute. The North Stars (5-0-1), who are ranked second in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25, won the group and will face crosstown rival St. Charles East in the 5 p.m. Saturday final.

The no. 8 Fighting Saints (9-1-0) won their ninth straight behind goals from Kayla Villa (Elle McCaslin assist) and Emma Blankenship (Renee Unterberg) to earn the finals berth versus SCN. Bartlett suffered its first loss of the season and now stands at 3-1-2.

Shannon Tagler had a brace and three assists in the runaway win for the 14th-ranked Wildcats (2-2-2). Piper Biziorek added a goal and an assist. Leah Senese, Brook Miller, Ali Dovalovsky and Kristen Hopkins also scored. Megan Olah chipped in with an assist as Neuqua Valley ended a two-game winless streak. Kasey Gillespie earned the save with three saves in 68 minutes of work. DGN (2-5-0, 1-0-0) fell after a 4-3 OT West Suburban Conference Silver Division win vs. Glenbard West on Tuesday.
