Wheaton North goalkeeper Zoe Welsh had 5 saves in recording the shutout. The winning, second half goal was scored by Lexi Pelafas on an assist by Clare Kocher.

The Trojans rebounded from their opening game overtime loss to Loyola with a resounding win. Forward Jessica Ridderhoff scrored four goals to lead the Downers Grove North (5-3-0) to the road win.
The scoring opened at the 22-minute mark when Ridderhoff one-touched a shot past Wolves goalkeeper Bridget Moran after a Trojan throw-in into the goal box. Five minutes later, Ridderhoff scored her second goal off a Downers Grove North corner kick.
Forward Emily Redpath tallied the Trojans' third goal off another corner kick. Downers Grove North held a 3-2 halftime lead.
Ridderhoff scored her third goal on a rebound after she was sent on a breakaway from a seam-splitting pass from freshman midfielder Carli Nehls. Ridderhoff finished her personal scoring spree on a breakaway in the 66th minute.
Defender Kacey Ford’s ended the scoring on a penalty kick awarded after a hand ball was called on forward Bridget Keys’ crossing ball in the penalty area.
The Trojans resume PepsiCo Showdown action at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Plainfield South.

Alliyah Parker's goal, assisted by Valentnia Rodriguez, wasn't enough for Warren. Keeper Liz Carrano recorded 1 save for the Blue Devils (2-3-1).
