The Trojans won with what coach Robert Calder called “The most complete 80 minutes we’ve played this year. We played the whole game without a let up.”
Senior forward Bianca Romay scored DGN's first goal after she alertly played a quick free kick before the Plainfield South defense set. Freshman forward Francesca Marconi picked up the rebound off the Cougar keeper and scored.
Sophomore midfielder Delaney Forst scored the second goal on a header off a precise, long throw-in from sophomore midfielder Maggie Nevrly. The Trojans improved to 6-3 with the win.
Metea Valley 3, Lincoln-Way North 1
Sophia Senese scored second half goals 1 minute, 20 seconds apart and Jade Eriksen-Russo added an insurance goal in the 67th minute for the Mustangs.
Alena Sidwell and Megan Morris contributed assists for Metea Valley (6-3-3).
Mustang goalie Amy Ahern made three saves in the game.
Wheaton Academy 5, Plainfield East 1
The Warriors built a 3-0 lead and cruised to the victory. Gretchen Pearson (2 goals, assist), Kate Lindsay (2 goals) and Erin Teevans (goal, assist) led the way for Wheaton Academy (5-2-0).
Johanna Pendley added an assist, and goalkeeper Liana Ledesma made 6 saves in the win.

Naperville Central 5, Mother McAuley 0
Naperville Central keepers Kinzly Dressler and Abby Hershik combined for the shutout without a save. The Redhawks received first half goals from Kirsten Dorgan, McKenzie Sisko and Allison Kincaide. Madison Redeker and Kayla Burke tallied in the second half. Naperville Central moves to 7-1-1 overall with the win.
