St. Charles North 8, Glenbard North 0
The North Stars, ranked second in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25, improved their undefeated mark to 16-0-3. Claudia Najera scored a hat trick, and Hailey Rydberg and Gia Wahlberg each had 2 goals and an assist for the winners. Sarah Andrey added a goal and assist, and Amanda Czerniak and Katy Fredericksen contributed helpers. Sami Sample and Leanne Stahulak split the shutout. St. Charles North meets host and 10-seed DeKalb, a 2-1 upset winner over Wheaton Warrenville South, at 5 p.m. Friday.
Lake Forest Regional
Lake Forest 2, Palatine 1 (2 OT)
Palatine's Gianna Valero tied the score and pushed the game to overtime, but the Pirates (10-8-3) couldn't overcome their ninth-ranked hosts, who scored in the second overtime. Fifth-seeded Lake Forest (11-4-1) welcomes no. 4-seed Lake Zurich to its home field at 6 p.m. Friday.
Naperville Central Regional
Naperville Central 4, Yorkville 0
The Redhawks took control with three first half goals and cruised from there. Meridith Hannan led the way with a goal and an assist. Caitlin Reice, Meredith McGuire and Katie Anderson each tallied a goal for no. 23 Naperville Central. Danielle Coudreaut, Sarah Avery and Liz Barker recorded assists. Kinzly Dressler and Erin McHugh each made 3 saves to split the shutout. The fourth-seeded Redhawks (11-7-4) host no. 6-seed West Aurora at 6 p.m. Friday.

Warren 9, Waukegan 0
The no. 6 Blue Devils scored all their goals in the first half. Kaitlyn Chomko and Alliyah Parker led the way with 2 goals and 2 assists. Courtney Chomko and Lindsey Hardiman also scored braces, and Kayla Malaker had a goal and as assist. Becca Pineau chalked up an assist. Goalkeepers Skylar Reilly and Lydia Sundberg combined for the shutout with defensive help provided by Jessie Dietzen, Lindsay Ditmars, Maddie Gryzik, Jamie Kwon, Baylie Mabbett, Natalie McNally, and Kate Weyhrich. Second-seeded Warren (19-1-2) meets host and no. 12 seed Stevenson, which upset 7th-seeded Carmel 4-2, in the 11 a.m. final on Saturday.

Vernon Hills Regional
Deerfield 7, Northtown 0
The Warriors scored early and often to romp to a 7-0 regional semifinal win. Mirelle Haas got things started after a pass from Erin Rosenzweig and hammered a shot from 30 yards just under the crossbar after 10 minutes. Rosenzweig bagged the second goal on an assist from Marissa Hyland in the 17th minute. Julia Neal took a nice feed from Malori Killoren and tucked the ball in the net in the 27th minute. Killoren weaved through several defenders and scored to make it 4-0 in the 30th.
Rosenzweig added her second after a nice passing sequence from Chloe Cappas and Samantha Linn in the 36th. Rachel Levin's smooth pass set up Marissa Hyland in front of the goal to make it 6-0 at the half. Cappas closed out the scoring in the 73rd after streaking by several defenders. Karly Morris made 1 save, and Carolyn Curley had 4 saves to share the shutout. Deerfield (9-9-4) advances to the regional final against host Vernon Hills on Saturday morning.
