The no. 15 Fighting Saints came back from a 2-1 second half deficit for the win. The second goal of Grace Williams’ brace was the game-winner. Sophomore Alli Saviano assisted both of the senior’s tallies. Senior Libby Thomas tied the game after a helper from classmate Yazmin Martinez. St. Charles East (14-4-2, 4-1-1) is tied for second in the league with Batavia behind undefeated St. Charles North (5-0-0).

The Redhawks scored four times in the second half to put the game away. Molly O’Rear led the way with a goal and two assists. Lauren Thorne, Megan Norkett, Anna Sadowski, Maddie Mogg and Ella Burke added solo tallies. Maddie Boogerd and Alex Jonaitis contributed helpers. Abbey O’Connor made seven saves for the clean-sheet for fourth-ranked Naperville Central (14-1-1).

The Warriors went 2-0-1 on their weekend trip to Michigan. Sydney Abbott scored unassisted in the first game of the day. In the win, Lily Lebo led the way with a goal and assist. Abbott and Eva DeSouza also notched goals. Haleigh Manske assisted the opener. Goalkeeper Sara Swoboda made six saves. Wheaton Academy improved to 12-5-2. Next up is a nonconference match against Hoffman Estates at 7 p.m. at home Wednesday. In the regular-season finale Friday, the Warriors have the chance to win the outright conference title at St. Francis.
