The Pirates (10-7-3) earned the road tie in the match-up of divisional runners-up on a Mackenzie Filian goal off a Sarah Clancy corner. Palatine opens the state tournament against host and 9th-ranked Lake Forest on May 16. The Pirates topped the Scouts 4-1 in their season-opener. Prospect's Aly Kobler got the home team's goal off an assist from Sarah Mulvihill. The Knights (7-9-2) host Niles West in their regional opener May 16.
