McKenna Gahagan's goal and assist paced the Fighting Saints (20-0-1) to a regional plaque. Ashley Stellon scored the second half insurance goal. Hannah Miller added an assist. Keeper Sophia Iori needed just one save for the clean-sheet.

Carmel took the early lead when a free kick was served into the penalty area and put home at the back post by Sofia Coury at 13:47. Deerfield responded when freshman goalie Lauren Gottlieb gathered a cross and distributed to Simone Criz. Criz played a ball over the Carmel backline for Holly Deutsch, who fired a shot just under the crossbar at 20:11. The Warriors went up 2-1 at 25:10 when Emily Fox got on the end of an Erin Emory through-ball and tucked it home. Carmel tied it up at 60:51 on a goal by Kate Jones. The Warriors applied pressure late and came up with the winner in the final minute. A cross by Deutsch was cut out by the defense, but Bella Lowis stole the ball and passed to Riley Schimanski, who one-timed it into the upper corner with 54 seconds remaining. The goal was Schimanski's 20th of the season, eight of which have been game winners.
