Crystal Lake South 3, Grayslake North 1
Crystal Lake South broke through for its first win of the season in come-from-behind fashion over the tournament host. Nik Getzinger tied the game after a Ryan Coughlin assist before the half. Jack Wruck (Andrew Grabowski assist) and Alex Canfield (Coughlin) sealed the win. Gators keeper Spencer Traub made three saves for South.
North Shore Shootout
Round Lake 5, Deerfield 1
Brendan Bisceglia scored the lone goal in the consolation semifinal loss in Lake Forest. The Warriors meet Highland Park in the seventh place game at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Bartlett 2, McHenry 2
No. 25 Bartlett fought to a 2-2 tie with McHenry. Julio Diaz had a goal and an assist for the host Hawks (0-1-1). Kevin Nava scored and Hernan Garcia contibuted an assist to the Bartlett cause. Goalkeepers Jeremy Taylor (6 saves) and Zac Rebac (4) helped preserve the tie.
Batavia 2, Oswego 1
A first half goal by Mitch Kearby (Julian Ibarra assist) was not enough for Oswego in its season debut. Nick Kearns kept the Panthers in the game with 10 saves.

The Huskies earned a road tie with Chicagoland Soccer's no. 11 team on a second-consecutive brace from Chris Sullivan. Ian Guppy and Jack Hill supplied the assists. No. 3 Naperville North (1-0-1) will host no. 2 Morton at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Marmion's Sean Miller got the Cadets' only score after an assist from Ricky Ruiz. Goalkeeper Danny Galush contributed 4 saves in Marmion's season-opener.
