Miguel Garcia scored twice and added an assist to improve the Blue Devils, who are ranked 18th in the Chicagoland Soccer First 50, to an unblemished record in two games on the season and in the tournament. Matt Paraskos added a goal and two assists. Brady Lockwood, Andrew May and Brandon Block filled out the goal column. Tommy DeSanto, Lucas Ahonen, Ryan Stanciak dished out assists. Keeper Ethan Cole made two saves for the clean-sheet. "I thought we looked much better tonight: keeping the soccer ball; playing our style; finding different channels to play in; and being very offensive minded," said coach Jason Ahonen.

Benet 2, West Chicago 1
Nick Roe scored in the 78th minute off an Owen McGary assist to give the no. 16 and host Redwings the win. Nico Picha opened the scoring in the fifth minute after help from Brayden Fagbemi. Next up for Benet is the Best of the West tournament, where they open with South Elgin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Naperville North.
Leyden 3, Stevenson 3
After Oliver Salgado gave Leyden an early lead, no. 19 Stevenson settled in and took control to build a 2-1 lead. Just before the break, Leyden found the equalizer when Danny Guevara's free kick rebound was buried by Javier Solis. Early the second half, Salgado got behind the Stevenson backline to earn a penalty, that Solis slammed home for the 3-2 Leyden lead. Stevenson battled back fiercely and was able to beat Leyden to a loose ball in the box and salvage the draw.
New Trier 2, Glenbard East 0
The second-ranked Trevians used first half goals from Theo Franzen (Colin Gottshall assist) and Karsten Segall (Matthew Perchik), and a varsity debut shutout from sophomore Thomas Terry to earn the win. New Trier coach Matt Ravenscraft got the result against his old high school manager Josh Adler. Ravenscraft was a captain on Adler's first team.
