Jesus Limon tallied a hat-trick and an assist to lead the Sabres. Edwin Peralta and Carlos Alcantar contributed to Streamwood's four-goal second half burst. Alejandro Morales, Mike Rubio and Harvey Partida contributed assists, and Antonio Herrera made three saves for the shutout. The Sabres, ranked no. 21 in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25, improved to 2-1-0 in their tournament opener.

The host Falcons improved to 2-0-1 on the season and in the tournament on a goal from senior defender Sunday Moo off an Ethan Shikany assist.

Yorkville 3, Romeville 1
Second half goals from Caleb Law and Preston Huitron broke a 1-1 tie and gave the host Foxes the win. Huitron finished with a goal and an assist, and J.C. Noyola added two assists. Jake Rodgers opened the scoring for Yorkville (3-1-0). Keeper Brandon Ducoing made six saves in the win. Starting the game against a heavy wind, the backline of the Foxes was determined to show its strength against a Romeoville team that had outscored its opponents 15-0 in their first two games of the season. Nathan Batres played a beast of a game, with Evan Torok, Ryan Schwarz, Alex Barrientos, and Collin Bowers playing stellar as well. the quintet held the high-powered Spartans squad to only one first half goal. Midfield play was technical tonight with the ball moving east and west frequently. Rodgers scored his first goal of the season with a well-timed header off a brilliantly placed ball from Noyola. Noyola then assisted fellow sophomore Preston Huitron, who also had a free kick assist on the night. That helper set up senior Caleb Law on yet another mid-air header goal. The 3-1 victory was Yorkville's first program win against Class 3A Romeoville. The Foxes have scored two or more goals in each of their first four games. Next up is West Aurora at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
