After taking a 1-0 lead in the second minute on a Bernard Elegbede strike, the 14th-ranked North Stars surrendered three-straight goals. Jake Persenico's score in the 64th minute cut the deficit, but St. Charles North couldn't find the equalizer. Elegbede added an assist for the North Stars (3-1-0).

The Bison built up a 3-0 halftime lead and held on for the upset behind a goal and an assist each from Kevin Eloiza and Kyle Adams, and the game-winner from Marcin Czaplinski. Truitt Battin scored both goals and Tyler Villanueva added a helper for St. Charles East (1-2-1).

Wheaton Academy 3, Batavia 2
Seamus Kilgallon's goal with just 19 seconds left capped a 3-goal rally for the visiting Warriors (2-1-0). Trailing 2-0 with 25 minutes to play, Wheaton Academy turned up the heat and produced goals from Luke Holwerda (Grayson Harris) and Quinn Partain to tie the game. Owen Hardy assisted on the game-winner. The Warriors host Wheaton Warrenville South in a nonconference battle at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
