John Kolb (Nico Picha assist) scored in the sixth minute, and Caden Schulz (Picha) put the game away in the 76th minute. Keeper Evan Lucas did not need a save for the shutout. Benet is back in league action against at 6 p.m. at Marist on Wednesday.

The Dons, ranked no. 25, held a 4-0 halftime lead powered by Freddy Krug's hat-trick. Bright spots for Oak Forest included a goal from Mo Diefallah and stronger second half play. Bengals starting midfielder Gio Cabrera missed the game with a knee injury.

Streamwood 4, Auburn 1
The Sabres (3-2-1) stormed back from a 1-0 halftime deficit with goals from A.J. Sabanovic (E.J. Satsatin assist), Christian Sandoval (Ricardo Aguilar), Miguel Gutierrez (Jairo Sanchez) and Hugo Marquez (unassisted).

The no. 9 Gators led at the break on an unassisted Tom Coughlin goal but settled for the draw. Crystal Lake South (6-1-1) played without three starters and competed with nine field players for the final 25 minutes after receiving a red card. The team will look to regroup for its Fox Valley Conference opener Tuesday night at Jacobs.

The Cogs powered to their 10th win of the season in 11 games. Senior forward Eagan Reams led the way with a four-bagger and assist. Jorge Leon added a goal and assist. Gerardo Morales, Diego Espinoza and Jacob Barton concluded the scoring. Aiden Tomlinson collected two assists, and Leo Rocha, Javier Pizano and Julian Lara Para added solo helpers.

Alek LaRoi scored a brace, Jake Berlowski bagged a solo tally and freshman Noah Feniman scored his first varsity goal in the win. Andrew Sorensen collected two assists, and C.J. Villani notched a solo helper for the no. 10 Wildcats.

Bryan Higgs goal (from Alex Arredondo) gave the no. 5 Huskies (6-1-2) all the offense they needed. Patrick Horn and Reed Goss split the shutout.

Emilio Mancera (61st minute) and Braden Lechner (71st) broke a halftime tie and gave the no. 19 Blue Devils (7-1-0) the win. Miguel Rodriguez (10th) and Cael Harris (Braden Lechner assist, 35th) scored in the first half. "After being down twice, I was really happy with the way the boys responded and battled back to tie up the game before the half," said coach Jason Ahonen. "I loved the pressure that we put on the Wauconda backline and goalkeeper in the second half that allowed us to find the back of the net twice to seal the victory."
