The Sabres, underseeded at no. 14, marched to the semifinals on the road against their 11th-seeded foes. Aldo Lazaro scored twice including a 30-yard first half free kick that gave Streamwood (8-2-0) a 1-0 halftime lead. Alex Chavez added a goal and an assist, and Alex Herrera scored the final goal. Christian Lopez added an assist, and Daniel Dominguez stopped three shots for the no. 10 Sabres, who host second-seeded St. Charles North at 6:30 on Thursday.
