The Blazers scored on an indirect kick in the beginning of the second half to take the lead. Aaron Sanchez scored on the play, and Leo Acosta earned his first of two assists on the day with the touch. Addison Trail (7-1-0) put the game away with a tap-in goal from Jason Mejia off a cross from Acosta. Goalkeeper Ernesto Padua recorded five saves on the day and earned his fourth shutout on the season. Addison Trail hosts Dundee-Crown at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the next round of play.

The Hawks advanced in the winner's side after a goal from Danny Grochal (Kaden Eberman assist) and Adrian Huerta shutout.
Morton 2, Crystal Lake South 1
Against top-rated and -seeded Morton, the Gators fought back from a 1-0 halftime deficit. Garett Schneider's unassisted goal tied the game, but Crystal Lake South couldn't hold off the Mustangs (6-0-2), who got two PK stops among seven saves from keeper Andreas Calderon. The Gators (5-2-2) got seven saves from goalie Carson Hill.

The Sabres couldn't overcome a three-goal first half flurry from Speer. Edwin Peralta scored an unassisted goal for Streamwood (3-4-2).

Nick McGrath scored a brace, which included the PK game-winner with a minute to go, to give the Tigers the win. Paul Thalman opened the scoring just 40 seconds into the match, and McGrath tallied a feed from Kevin Stumbris to give the Wheaton Warrenville South a 2-0 lead. Wheaton Academy (4-2-1) knotted the game on PK goals from Sam Froslid (60th minute) and Login Finnegan (75th).
