The Huskie, ranked fourth in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25, advanced to 7-2-1 overall and (2-0-0 in the league behind goals from Jacob Ryu (Keegan Flaherty assist), Cam Radeke (unassisted) and Caden Hill (Alex Barger). Patrick Horn earned the shutout. Naperville North has ranked matchups ahead against no. 9 West Chicago on Thursday and no. 14 Fremd on Saturday.

Crystal Lake South 2, Jacobs 1
The Gators took a 2-0 lead and then held on for the road win in the conference opener for both teams. Michal Dejworek led the way with a goal and assist. Deven Tinajero netted the opener. Keeper Logan Vargas made four saves for Crystal Lake South (7-1-1, 1-0-0) Nevin Volarath scored an unassisted goal for Jacobs (4-4-1, 0-1-0).
Metro Suburban Conference Blue Division
St. Francis 2, Riverside-Brookfield 2 (SF wins PKs 4-2)
The Spartans prevailed in the shootout behind makes from Cooper Winslow, Brendan Yarusso, Crawford and Tommy Goetzke. Goalkeeper Simon Hartl made two saves to elevate his team.
Wheaton Academy 7, Elmwood Park 0
The Warriors (5-2-1, 2-0-0) took the lead in the first minute after Gio Nicoski-Rios intercepted a pass and finished the opportunity. The senior midfielder finished the night with a hat-trick and assists on goals from Josh Mariotti and Robert Platt. Troy Erickson scored just before intermission and provided a second half assist. Ethan Head rounded out the scoring with a great strike late in the game after a Lucas Landstrom assist. Xander Anaya, Josiah Pitts, Scotty Murray and Erickson anchored the backline and helped Brandon Hoekstra (four saves) record another shutout. The Warriors will return to league action at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at Timothy.
North Suburban Conference
Warren 1, Lake Zurich 1
The no. 16 Blue Devils salvaged a league point on Braden Lechner's tying goal in the 69th minute. The 22nd-ranked hosts took the lead in the 4wnd minute. George McAtee made six saves for Warren (7-1-1, 1-0-1). "Lake Zurich is always a tough place to play," said Blue Devils coach Jason Ahonen. "After being down 0-1, I am proud of how the boys battled back and were able to get a crucial point on the road. We created a number of chances all night long but could not find the back of the net until later in the game."
West Suburban Conference Silver Division
York 5, Glenbard West 0
The 11th-ranked Dukes offense fired on all cylinders. Jose Herrera and Sam Musial, who returned to the lineup after missing a couple games with an injury, each scored two goals. Herrera added an assist for Kevin Gliatis, who soared for a beautiful header into the corner of the goal. Herrera's first goal was set up with a brilliant feed from his brother Gustavo. Gliatis and Gustavo Herrera also contributed an assist. York scored three first half goals playing into the wind. The Dukes had the better of possession in the second half with several chances at goal. Ricky Torres kept the sheet clean in the second half with help from defensive specialists Connor Bare, Cameron Oder, Brendan Haran, Neil McGovern, Ryder Kohl, Matthew Barton and Yael Sylvestre.
Streamwood Fall Classic
Lake Park 5, Streamwood 1
The Lancers took a 2-0 halftime lead and advanced their position against their hosts. Frankie Caira led the way with a hat-trick, and Jason Salwach (PK) and Raim Ramani added solo goals. Edgar Villagran notched a pair of assists, and Aidan Killmer and Jack Tucci had single helpers for Lake Park (3-3-4-2) which has won three of its last four games. The only tally for Streamwood (3-3-1) came on an own goal.
St. Charles East 2, Elgin 1
Sebastian Carranza split his brace between halves for a 2-0 lead, and the no. 6 Fighting Saints held off a second half rally from the hosts. Ryan Vandeveer and Mason Brockmeyer registered the assists. Keeper Tyler Benhart made three saves in the win for St. Charles East (7-1-0).
