The Redwings (6-2-0, 2-0-0) rolled behind a hat-trick from Brayden Fagbemi, a brace and assist from Sam Trunnell and three helpers from Nick Roe. Ryan Augustyn, Drew Fieldman and Kovas Jeleniauskas added goals. Owen McGarry and Danny Boyle provided additional help. Evan Lucas (five saves,40 minutes) and Drew Connell (one, 30) shared the shutout for Benet, which is ranked 17th in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25. Next up the Redwings are two top-flight games: Friday vs. Morton, and Saturday vs. Libertyville in Berwyn.

South Elgin 2, Fenton 1
The Storm used unassisted goals from Ryan Nguyen and Kendall Andrewin to get off the schneid and move to 1-0-1 in conference play. Keepers Luke Bondi (goal against, five saves, 50 minutes) and Aaron Cacucciolo (zero, three, 30 minutes) combined for the win against Fenton, which ranked sixth in Chicagoland Soccer's new Class AA Super 7 poll. South Elgin, now 1-6-2 overall, will take on nonconference foe Geneva on Saturday.
