The Blazers (8-1-0) used goals from Tom Kania, Ruben Amaro, and Jonathan Hernandez, to advance to the bracket championship against Crystal Lake South at 1 p.m. Sept. 25 at Illinois Tech. Enrique Luna (2) and Kania chipped in with assists for the winners. Goalkeeper Jacob Grygo stopped 8 shots for the Blazers. The win was the first come-from-behind victory of the season for Chicagoland Soccer's 16th-rated team.
Crystal Lake South 4, Carmel 3 (OT)
The Gators posted a comeback for the ages with four unanswered goals against host Carmel. The host Corsairs roared to a 3-0 halftime lead. Crystal Lake South answered with a brace from Nikolas Getzinger followed by an Andrew Grabowski goal that tied the game in regulation. Grabowski's second goal of the game with 5 minutes left in overtime gave Crystal Lake South (8-2-1) the win. Alec Canfield assisted on the game-winner; Jack Wruck and Adam Greenfield added helpers.

The Warriors scored twice in the first 5 minutes and held on for the victory. Collin Hinds opened the scoring in the 3rd minute after a give-and-go with Matt Grady. Wes Miller banged in a rebound at the back post in the 5th minute for a 2-0 margin. Leo Kolodkin made 7 saves for Deerfield (3-7-1).
Leyden 2 Waukegan 2 (Leyden wins PKs 5-4/6)
Matt Makowiec and Oscar Duarte each scored to lead the Eagles offense. Goalkeeper Jason Andrade made 2 big saves in the shootout for Leyden (6-3-0).

The Cadets (2-8-0, 0-2-0) battled Mt. Carmel to a draw in the first 40 minuntes, but couldn't hold them off in the second half.
Schaumburg 2, Bartlett 0
Zac Rebac stopped 8 shots, but it wasn't enough for the Hawks, who fell to 0-8-1.
