The Sabres (2-1-1) prevailed behind a brace from Ricardo Aguilar and a solo tally from Christian Sandoval. Michael Garcia, Trey Yi and Jairo Sanchez created assists for Streamwood, which will play for third place against at 4 p.m. Saturday against tournament host Barrington.

Benet (3-1-0) prevailed in Round 2 of the tournament at Naperville North. Andy Nash delivered the deciding score in the 49th minute with help from T.J. McVey, and the Redwings held their lead the rest of the way. Junior keeper Evan Lucas made three saves in 80 minutes to keep Oswego off the board. In round three of the tournament, no. 8 Benet will meet no. 4 Naperville North for a berth in the championship game at 10 a.m. Saturday at Naperville North.

The Huskies (2-1-1) rolled behind a goal and assist from both Cam Radeke and Jacob Ryu. Noah Radeke, Tyson Amoo-Mensah and Alex Arredondo joined in the scoring parade. Patrick Horn and Reed Goss shared the shutout.

St. Charles East 3, Maine South 1
After a scoreless first half, the second-ranked Fighting Saints took control thanks to Sebastian Carranza. The senior scored the opener and the game-winner after no. 22 Maine South (3-1-0) pulled even. Mason Brockmeyer scored the insurance goal. Luca Avandano, Connor King and Colin Leatherberry provided helpers. St. Charles East (5-0-0) hosts defending 2019 champion Metea Valley (3-0-0) in the final at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The Blue Devils put the game away with three goals after the break. Alexis Medina led the way with a brace and assist. Tommy DeSanto and Jaris Salinas completed the goal column. Mike Galvan added an assist. George McAtee and Josh Pos combined for the clean sheet for no. 19 Warren (4-1-0). "After a sluggish first half we really came out with great intensity and fire to start the second half," said coach Jason Ahonen. "We are able to create a number of chances ... in the second half. I'm truly proud of the effort and the energy and effort the boys played with today."
