The Panthers held a significant edge in possession and quality chances, but the Batavia backline and keeper did a great job all night keeping the clean-sheet. Stavros Veremis made three saves for his fifth shutout of the season for Glenbard North. Andy Peña and Colin Hernandez played excellent games in the midfield generating quality chances for the front line. The Panthers (5-3-3) will try to extend their unbeaten streak to four in a league match Thursday night at Wheaton North.

The Spartans increased their unbeaten streak to three games with the home win. Juniors Cooper Winslow and Nick Madden provided the offense for St. Francis (3-5-2, 2-2-x).

The Wildcats were upset at home and suffered their first league loss. Keeper Andy Houser made six saves in defeat.
Mundelein 2, Warren 1
Warren, ranked 16th in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25, was ambushed on the road. Miguel Garcia tied the match in the 69th minute after a Tyler Hughes assist, but the hosts prevailed with a 72nd-minute PK. Ethan Cole made five saves for the Blue Devils (6-3-1, 1-2-1).

The sixth-ranked Rams were obviously fired up for Senior Night. Upcoming graduates Danik Marynevych (hat-trick, two assists), Raymond Sereno (hat-trick), Cameron Paul (goal), Alan Alonso (goal, two assists), Lucas Veenstra (assist) and Jose Chavez (assist) led the way. Juniors Nick Molochnikov (brace) and Mitchell Fein (three assists) backed up their mates. Junior keeper Uriel Garcia Perez picked up his sixth shutout of the season for Grayslake Central (9-0-1, 3-0-0).
