Danny Quintana had a brace and two assists to lead the Storm (4-6-3, 1-1-2), who broke open a 2-1 match with three second half goals. Lucas Reutimann added a bookend brace and Ryan Doherty concluded the scoring. Angel Garcia-Resendiz and Nick Flores chipped in with assists that helped end a two-game losing streak. After holding only a 1-0 lead at the break, the Sabres (5-6-2, 2-1-0) broke out of their scoring malaise to post their biggest offensive output of the season. Alejandro Morales had a brace and two assists to lead the way. Angel Diaz and Edwin Peralta each added a pair of goals, and Aaron Taboada added the final tally. Leo Magana provided three helpers, and Joel Sandoval contributed one. Starter keeper Antonio Herrera left the game after 60 minutes due to an injury. Eduardo DelRio worked the remainder of the game and made one save without allowing a goal for Streamwood, which ended a two-game slide.
