St. Francis 3, Providence 0
Nicholas Roehl had a goal and an assist to lead St. Francis (5-4-2, 2-0-1). Brian Cochrane and Joey Wood added goals, and David Gianos and Jose Zepeda tallied assists. Goalkeeper Jonathan Burke had 6 saves to earn the clean sheet.
The Spartan Prep Band made an appearance which was the first time any of the attendees could recall a marching band at a high school soccer game.

Crystal Lake South 2, Dundee-Crown 1
Crystal Lake South scored a pair of first-half goals: Ryan Russmann, on an assist from Andrew Grabowski, and Grabowski, assisted by Andrew Perrine. Goalkeepers Dalton Kause and Jose Gonzalez made sure the lead held up with 4 saves apiece. The Gators' and Chargers' soccer programs teamed up to raise more than $2,000 to help with research for Multiple Sclerosis.

Benet Academy 3, Marian Catholic 0
Kyle Kenagy started the scoring for Benet with 33 minutes remaining in the first half off a long pass over the top by Ryley Guay. Ten minutes later, freshman Artur Pach launched a deep cross from the right that connected with the head of Daniel Morefield. Morefield redirected the ball to the goal mouth and it is headed in for the goal by David Diltz. With five minutes left in the half, Kenagy scored on a direct kick from 20 yards out. Goalkeepers Konrad Bayer (2 saves) and Nick Senak (3 saves) kept Marian scoreless.

Waubonsie Valley 3, Bartlett 1
Bartlett's lone goal was scored by Igor Zwada, assisted by Timmy Riordan. Bartlett goalkeeper Jake Hasenstein recorded 8 saves in the loss.
St. Charles East Tournament
St. Charles East 2, Marmion Academy 0
The Cadets held off the host Saints for a half, but fell 2-0 in pool play. Keeper Matt Fletcher had 4 saves for Marmion (7-7).

The winning Huskies put in first half goals by Connor McBride (Brandon Hipp) and Chris Ensign (Matty Sylvester). Chris Sullivan knocked in a penalty kick in the second half. Goalkeepers Christian Robert and Riley Wiest combined for the shutout.
Wheaton North 5, York 1
Alex Bugumba, Kyle Norton, Aaron Deeke, Cooper Winckler and Sam Mason all put the ball in the net for Wheaton North, on assists by Norton, Jason Szumski, Jack Williams, Zach Oslund and Zoran Tanasic.
