Tommy Ciezadlo contributed an assist. Brandon Gorka made four assists for the clean-sheet for Crystal Lake South (8-8-1, 2-3-0).

The Warriors won their opening quarterfinal game with five second half goals. Quinn Partain, Seamus Kilgallon, Jack Kilgallon, Grayson Harris, and Luke Holwerda scored, and goalkeeper J.D. Gunn collected another shutout for Wheaton Academy (13-4-0).

Billy Heniades scored early goals in each half en route to a hat-trick for the Wildcats (10-4-1). T.J. Fenton's goal in the 31st minute gave Neuqua Valley a 2-1 halftime lead. Daniel Costea, Nate Kuper, Anthony Safo, Jose Navarro and Jason Benjamine helped the goal scorers. Next up for the Wildcats is their Senior Day game against Addison Trail at noon Saturday.
