The Dukes took a 4-0 halftime lead and expanded their advantage from there. Parker Gawne led the way with a hat-trick and assist. Ethan Oder (one assist) and Kalvin Glodz each notched a brace. Joe Meade had a goal and two assists, and George Nolley put one away. Ryan Woolfe had a pair of assists, and Jack Musial contributed one helper. After getting shut out in its first two games, York (2-2-0) scored 12 goals in its next two contests. South Elgin (1-3-0), which opens its Upstate Eight Conference slate at West Chicago on Wednesday night, got two second half goals from Lucas Reutimann, one of which was assisted by Danny Quintana.
