Host St. Charles East lost a shocker on a first half goal by the visiting Panthers. Keeper Zachary Doerr made two saves for the Fighting Saints, who fell to 3-3-0, 0-1-0, after their first game in the new league.

The Lancers, ranked seventh in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25, captured their seventh-straight win to start the season. Matteo Costa and Franco Presta each had a goal and assist to lead the way. Gabriel Mendrano contributed a goal for the Lancers, who posted their fourth-straight shutout and fifth on the season.

After a scoreless first half, the top-ranked Huskies dominated following the break. Ty Konrad had two goals and two assists, and defender Colin Iverson scored twice with an assist. Zach Smith also tallied, and Christian Romano and Nikhil Javeri contributed assists. Keeper Tommy Welch tied the school career record for shutouts with his 33rd and fifth on the season for Naperville North (7-0-0).

Yorkville 8, Morris 0
Savador Alfaro scored his first varsity hat-trick, and J.C. Noyola had a goal and two assists in the league-opening romp for the Foxes (4-3-0, 1-0-0). Preston Senffner, Caleb Law and Julio Segura added a goal and an assist each, and Edgar Barrientos and Preston Huitron chipped in with two assists apiece. Keeper Brandon Ducoing made two saves for the shutout in the game, which was cut 5 1/2 minutes due to the score.
"The backline play and goalkeeping were sound, and the team controlled possession for the majority of the game," said coach Andrew Johnson.
Yorkville resumes conference play with a home date at 4:30 Thursday against DeKalb.
