Junior keeper Zachary Juszko made five saves for South Elgin (1-4-0, 0-1-0). The Storm play their first home game under the lights when they host Hoffman Estates in the Hillner Classic at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

Junior midfielder Sam Strader scored a brace for the host North Stars (4-0-0), who came back from a 1-0, own-goal deficit. Senior defender Colin Nelson scored the game-winner and junior forward Luke Persenico added an assist. A home win against Leyden at 7 p.m. Thursday would put St. Charles North in the final Saturday.
