The Warriors (4-2-0, 1-0-0) scored a key win on the road in their conference opener and ended Fenton's four-game winning streak Tuesday night. Quinn Partain scored a hat-trick in the first 13 minutes of play to provide Wheaton Academy's offense. J.D. Gunn made 4 saves and only surrendered a second half goal to Fenton (5-2-0), which won the title Saturday at Addison Trail's Joe Novy Invitational.

The Fighting Saints fought back from a 1-0 halftime deficit but could not overcome Elgin (5-0-1) in the conference opener for both teams. Luke Schnitker recorded a brace with assists from Truitt Battin and Grayson Biddle. Goalkeeper Zach Doerr played the final 20 minutes of the game and did not face a shot. Starter Zach Kennedy made 6 saves for St. Charles East (1-4-2), which saw its winless streak stretch to five games.
