Geneva scored late in the first half to take the 1-0 lead into intermission. Glenbard North's Pablo DeLaCruz tied the game on a free kick from just outside the box that went over the wall and beat the keeper to the front post. Panthers' goalkeeper Stavros Veremis made key saves throughout the match to help Glenbard North (2-2-2) earn the point.
Lake Park 3, St. Charles East 2
In what could end up as the upset of the season, the host Lancers won for the first time with a victory over the second-ranked team in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25. Lake Park's senior captains combined for the game-winner when Raim Ramani headed home Edgar Villagran's corner kick in the 65th minute. Frankie Caira contributed a goal and assist for the Lancers (1-3-2, 1-0-0), and Anthony Juarez added a goal. St. Charles East (6-1-0, 0-1-0) took the early lead on a goal from Sebastian Carranza (Will Orloff assist). The game went into the half even at 2-2 after Luca Avandano connected after a Carranza helper.

Naperville North 3, Neuqua Valley 0
Alex Barger and Adam Zielke accounted for all the scoring for the the no. 5 Huskies (5-1-1, 1-0-0). Barger, a junior who just received a scholarship offer from Indiana University, led the way with a brace and assist. Zielke contributed a goal and assist. Keepers Patrick Horn and Reed Goss shared the shutout.
Metro Suburban Conference Blue Division
Timothy 3, Ridgewood 2
Senior Ethan Lemkuil scored the game-winner with 30 seconds to play after an assist from junior Cam Baker. The Trojans fought back from deficits twice in their league opener. Junior Ethan Munk tied the game 1-1 with help from Lemkuil. Sophomore Hendrik DeVries matched him to knot the game at 2-2 with an unassisted goal.

Oak Forest 3, Richards 1
A brace from Ian Plancarte and a solo tally from Alex Hernandez gave the Bengals (4-1-1, 1-0-0) the offense they needed.
