Logan Lewarchick scored in the first half and assisted Mason Brockmeyer in the second to lead the offense for the Fighting Saints, who are ranked 13th in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25. Keeper Jordon Rolon recorded six saves for the clean-sheet for St. Charles East (7-1-0, 2-0-0).

Wheaton Academy 7, St. Edward 0
The Warriors came out blazing for the start of league competition and scored three goals in the first nine minutes. The first came four minutes in when Josiah Pitts finished a cross from Troy Erickson. Jakob Karlson and Ethan Head each recorded a brace on the evening. Caleb Mariotti notched a goal and three assists. Josh Mariotti added a goal. Freshman Gabe Rodriguez recorded his first varsity point on a corner kick. Keeper Declan Finnegan, defenders Logan Bates and Asher Barton, and a host of other defenders worked to keep the ball far from goal for the Warriors fifth shutout of the year. Wheaton Academy (4-2-2, 1-0-0) will train up to its next conference game at 7 p.m. Sept. 13 at Elmwood Park.
South Suburban Conference
Argo 3, Oak Forest 2
The host Bengals battled back from a 3-0 halftime deficit. Junior Ian Evans and senior Ian Plancarte brought Oak Forest within a goal, but that's where the rally ended. Junior brothers Alex and Brandan Stacy provided assists. Senior keeper Gio Cabrera took over in the net for sophomore starter Adam Jedrzejczyk, who was injured 10 minutes into the game.

Crystal Lake South 1, Auburn 0
Nolan Getzinger scored the game-winner in the second half off an Andrew Smart assist. Keeper Logan Vargas needed only one save for the clean-sheet for the Gators (3-2-1).
