North Suburban Conference
Libertyville 2, Lake Zurich 2
Alek LaRoi and Jake Berlowski scored to give the Wildcats, ranked 10th in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25, a point at home in their conference opener against no. 17 Lake Zurich.
Warren 2, Zion-Benton 1
Matt Paraskos started the scoring for the no. 19 Blue Devils with a PK in the 21st minute. Tommy Desanto (assist Ryan Stanciak) finished it with the game-winner in the 62nd minute, just two minutes after the Zee-Bees tied the game. Keeper George McAtee made six saves in the win. "Winning on the road in the North Suburban Conference is so difficult," said coach Jason Ahonen."I am very proud of the way the boys responded after a sluggish start. It was a pretty evenly matched game. Zion hit one of the most impressive goals I’ve seen in high school soccer to tie the game. So proud of how quickly we responded. Ryan Stanciak worked his tail off and got the end line and was able to cross it to a cutting Tommy Desanto who put it in for the game-winning goal."
South Suburban Conference
Oak Forest 1, Oak Lawn 1
After Ian Plancarte gave Oak Forest the lead at the 2-minute mark, the Bengals held the advantage for the next 76 minutes until Oak Lawn tied the game on a penalty kick.
Nonconference

Tom Couglin led the way with a goal and two assists. Ali Ahmed and Dayton Murphy added a goal and assist. Nolan Getzinger and Ari Chingakham notched goals for the ninth-ranked Gators (6-1-0). Logan Vargas made five saves for the clean-sheet.
Glenbard West 3, Lake Park 2
Frankie Ciara had a goal and assist, Anthony Juarez had a goal and Edgar Villagran contributed an assist, but the Lancers couldn't reel in the road win.
Naperville North 2, East Aurora 2
The no. 5 Huskies (4-1-2) needed a Cam Radeke goal (Cole Ritzmann assist) and an East Aurora own goal to salvage the tie in Aurora.
Plainfield East 5, Benet 3
No. 11 Benet (4-3-0, 2-0-0) fell due to a strong second half push from Plainfield East. The victorious Bengals were led by Luis Orizaba with two goals, and Axel Aguilar, who added a goal and an assist. Max Ibarra and Alan Saldivar also scored. Helpers were made by Alejandro Barriga, Yandel Reyes, and Erik Tapia. For Benet, T.J. McVey attempted to bring his team to victory, but his one-goal and one-assist effort wasn't enough. Andy Nash also added a goal for Benet, and John Kolb contributed the third tally with the help of Jared Plummer. Drew Knapp allowed one goal with three saves for the first 40 minutes. Field player Caden Schulz took the net for the Redwings in the second half and made four saves. Benet looks forward to an ESCC matchup vs. Carmel Catholic on Saturday.
